About the role

Inside the R&D department reporting to SVP R&D, and in close cooperation with Product Management, Customer Success and Operations, you will drive the development organisation to deliver a set of products that are part of VITEC’s IPTV/Signage solutions. You will organize the work, including overall planning and follow-up, working closely with leaders of all teams. You will coordinate the work performed by teams at multiple R&D sites across several countries in order to make the most efficient use of resources and technologies to deliver the best products.

What you’ll do

• Responsible for driving the overall development of several products that are part of VITEC’s IPTV/Signage solutions, following progress, and providing support in case issues arise
• Deliver prioritized work according to business value in close relationship with R&D Management and Product Management, and translate business objectives into R&D tasks
• Work on the full life cycle of projects from kick-off through to deployment to the Operations Team for business as usual delivery
• Handle all aspects linked with R&D delivery, including interfacing with Operations and Customer Success
• Manage projects through the Product Release process to ensure smooth delivery into Operations
• Report progress of projects to Senior Management regularly
• Tracking of resource, risks, milestones and change requests on relevant active projects

About You

We are looking for a project manager who can demonstrate strong project management experience and can show:

• Experience gained from working in the technology, manufacturing and / or electronics industries in an international context, ideally in SME’s      
• A good understanding of software development and hardware development life cycles and can evidence project managing across the full product development lifecycle
• Will likely have experience of working in an international organisation that uses Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Can demonstrate experience of Agile management and planning tools (e.g. Aha!, Jira, Azure DevOps, Git etc) across the product development lifecycle
• Shows a keen interest in evolving and emerging technologies

Qualifications

You will be passionate about the project management profession and may have originally completed a degree in Business, Engineering or other associated discipline.
